Overview:
Mengalum Island is located 56km North-West of Kota Kinabalu. This pristine tropical island paradise is surrounded with white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and extensive corals that is teeming with marine life. This picturesque not crowded island is still barely untouched and is a perfect sanctuary from hectic city life.

Itinerary:

07:30   Gather at hotel lobby for pick-up.

08:00   Depart from Sutera Harbour Marina Jetty to Mengalum Island.

09:15   Upon arrival, served with welcome drink and then proceed to Sundeck Restaurant.

10:00   Conduct safety briefing then proceed for first guided boat snorkeling trip at selected coral reef.

11:00   Return to island and free at leisure.

12:30   Lunch served

12:30   Buffet Lunch served.

13:30   Experience underwater world with second guided boat snorkeling trip.

14:30   Return to island and free at leisure.

15:15   Get ready to return to Kota Kinabalu.

15:45   Depart from Mengalum Island

17:00   Arrive at Sutera Harbour Marina Jetty then transfer back to hotel.

Casual Wearing / Change of clothes / Swimsuit / Towel / Sunblock /  Insect Repellent / Waterproof Camera

Remarks:
1.   For safety reason, we retain the right to cancel the trip if the weather and sea condition deemed unfavorable as suggested by the boat service personnel.
2.   Boat snorkeling can only be carried out at surrounding area of the islands under companion of experienced personnel and instructor.  
3.   The is a Sit-In-Coach(SIC) basis tour - sharing transportation, you might joint with tourist from different country. Please notify us upon booking if you are looking for private tour,subject to available and surcharge might be applied.
4.   The pickup time is for reference only, actual time may be vary depends on number of visitors, distance, season, weather and road conditions, should be within 15 minutes.
5.   Transportation surcharge: Outskirts Area Hotels - RM20 per person; One Borneo Shopping mall - RM10 per person.

Overview:

Mengalum Island is located 56km North-West of Kota Kinabalu. This pristine tropical island paradise is surrounded with white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and extensive corals that is teeming with marine life. This picturesque not crowded island is still barely untouched and is a perfect sanctuary from hectic city life.

Mengalum Island has long been associated with voyaging of Ferdinand Magellan in Asian waters during 16th century. The link is tied to a large metal anchor located in the south- western corner of the island near the shoreline.

Itinerary:

Day one

0715 Gather at hotel lobby for pick-up

0800 Depart from Sutera Harbour Marina Jetty to Mengalum Island.

0915 Upon arrival, served with welcome drink and then proceed to Sundeck Restaurant.

1000 Conduct safety briefing then proceed for guided boat snorkeling trip at selected coral reef.

1100 Return to island then free at leisure.

1200 Chalet check-in.

1230 Lunch served at Sundeck Restaurant.

1330 Guided boat snorkeling trip or free at leisure.

1430 Return to island and free at leisure.

1745 Gather at Sundeck Point and wait for sunset view.

1900 Dinner at Sundeck Restaurant.

Day two

0730 Breakfast at Sundeck Restaurant then free and leisure.

0930 Check-out.

1000 guided boat snorkeling or free at leisure.

1100 Return to island then free at leisure.

1230 Lunch served at Sundeck Restaurant.

1330 Guided boat snorkeling trip or free at leisure.
